After 3 years of mixes and words, we’re finally stepping into the real world. Moon Roq welcomes Velvet Season & The Hearts Of Gold for an all night set in the intimate basement space of The Glove That Fits, in Hackney, on Saturday 4th December 2021. Tickets start at £5.

The phrase ‘if you know, you know” gets thrown around a lot. But if you know about Velvet Season & The Hearts Of Gold you bloody know. Their edits and special versions are the thing of legend. VS&THOG is Gerry Rooney and Joel Martin. Both former residents of the legendary Plastic People. You may know Gerry as one of the finest disco editors of the last two decades as one half of Black Cock, alongside DJ Harvey. Joel on the other hand is a DJ with an encyclopaedic knowledge, a master of obscure treats in techno, house, Afro-rock and other cosmic goodness. He is also one half of Quiet Village, alongside Matthew Edwards a.k.a. Radio Slave. They are literally two of the finest music men walking on this earth, and we can't wait to hear them play with The Glove That Fits monstrous system in a small, sweaty basement.
